Aly Raisman and team won gold medal, get Olympic earrings

But there would be more of gold for the girls. Earlier Aly Raisman was seen wearing a beautiful and patriotic pair of sapphire, ruby and diamond earrings and now the jeweler is gearing up to make the studs for the entire team.

When Aly was qualified for the Olympiad, she received a gift of these earrings from family friends who own Adama’s in Newton. Veronica Sagherian of Adama’s Jewelers told the press that they thought that a pair of studs would be a special gift she could easily wear during the events. And so they came up with those teeny-tiny precious studs.

Center round diamonds haloed by alternately prong set oval sapphires and rubies in a flower patter were pretty jewels for the big games style.

The Needham athlete was thrilled with the gift and was wearing them non-stop. The sparkles were so compelling that she couldn’t resist showing off even when she posed with the team for the cover page of Sports Illustrated.

The jewelers promised if the girls win gold in the team competition, they would get the identical earrings for the entire team. And now as the team made it in finals, the will soon receive their personal studs.

“We got a call today that they won gold. I was thrilled, excited and I am more than happy to give each one of the girls their own earrings.” said Anot Aboyan of Adama’s.

That a pretty lovely and brilliant gift for all the efforts they have done.

Congratulations to Aly and the team for the big victory and for the beautiful gifts.
